I based my order on the size chart/most reviews saying to size up. I typically order a size small bottoms in other brands. Waist is 26ā and hips are 36ā. I ended up exchanging the mediums for small because the medium had extra fabric in the crotch area that looked awkward. I think if my butt filled it out more that would not have been an issue. The smalls were a perfect fit and I love the adjustable sides for wearing it more high or low on the leg. Customer service were great about the exchanges. I ordered a second colour.
